Wearing machine Corrosion Tests. The corrosion behavior of the specimens for all the compositions was evaluated by a salt spray test following the procedure used for paints. Samples were placed in a salt spray chamber. The salty solution had a concentration 5% in weight of NaCl and was used a water quality type IV according to ASTM D1193-08 Standard. It was intended to evaluate the degree and distribution of rust by ASTM D 602-08 Standard, but after 336 h exposition no rust was observed. Figure 8 shows the specimens after the test.
